Jeralyn Lawrence and Amy Wechsler were speakers and part of a panel at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s seminar, “Guardians, Guardians Ad Litem, Law Guardians and Parenting Coordinators: What you Need to Know” on May 20, 2021.

This seminar provided practitioners guidance as to the differences and nuances related to the respective roles of Guardians, Guardians Ad Litem, Law Guardians and Parenting Coordinators. The panel discussed recent case law impacting upon the appointment of a Guardian on behalf of an adult. The panel also discussed practice pointers and hot tips regarding the use of Guardians, Guardians Ad Litem, Law Guardians and Parenting Coordinators in the context of family law matters.
