Emily is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey. She graduated from Seton Hall School of Law in 2020. At Seton Hall, Emily was recognized for her exceptional performance within the Center for Social Justice and was the sole recipient of The Center for Social Justice Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Family Law Clinic in her graduating class. During her tenure in the Family Law Clinic, Emily was mentored under the supervision and guidance of clinical instructors and represented clients in matters relating to custody, parenting time, child and spousal support, the equitable division of marital property and debt, contempt and guardianship.

Prior to attending law school, Emily began her career in family law as a legal secretary in 2008. She worked directly under Jeralyn Lawrence, Esq., in 2012 as a legal assistant, and was quickly promoted to paralegal where she was responsible for drafting comprehensive settlement agreements, motions and pleadings, as well as working closely with clients in all aspects of their family law matters. It has been her philosophy that families from all diverse dynamics deserve access to quality legal services during some of the most challenging stages of their lives, and that she is committed to helping clients achieve the best possible results in their personal circumstances. This mindset prompted Emily to attend law school in the evening, while working full-time and continuing to devote her services to clients.

Upon graduating from law school, Emily was granted permission by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to practice law under temporary supervision of counsel and has since appeared for and participated in oral argument in court proceedings, attended mediation with clients, and engaged in complex and multifaceted settlement negotiations with clients and adversaries. Emily places high importance on listening to her clients about their unique circumstances so that she can help them create solutions that serve not only their best interest, but their family’s as well. Having sharpened her skills in family law for more than a decade, Emily is a compassionate and hard-working advocate who understands that her clients are trusting her with what matters most.

While Emily’s office is in Somerset County, she represents clients throughout the State of New Jersey, including the following counties: Somerset, Hunterdon, Warren, Middlesex, Morris, Sussex, Bergen, Hudson, Union, Essex, Passaic, Mercer, Ocean, Monmouth, Gloucester and Burlington.

Emily is a member of the New Jersey State Bar and Somerset County Bar Associations. She has been selected as a Best NJ Lawyers for Families by New Jersey Family Magazine in 2022 and in 2023 and a 2023 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America in family law. Emily was also been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2023.

Emily is from Union County, New Jersey, and graduated from Rutgers University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. As an undergraduate student, she interned at a family law firm, where her passion for family law found its beginnings.
