
The New Jersey State Bar Association 2024 Board of Trustees hosted an Awards Celebration at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey on Thursday, January 18, 2024. This event was held to acknowledge the year of collaboration and advocacy by the Association and its members who worked tirelessly to improve the legal profession. Jeralyn Lawrence received five awards at this event. We are so thankful for the recognition of Jeralyn’s work on advocating to change the law.
For the Amicus Awards, Jeralyn accepted honors for Cardali v. Cardali and State v. Burgos for her work in alimony and the impact of cohabitation and her advocacy to abolish the Madden assignments of counsel, respectively. For the Legislative awards, Jeralyn won three awards for her work on the Survivor Protection Act, Alimony Legislation and Cell Phone Rights for Victims of Domestic Violence. We appreciate the recognition of Jeralyn’s contributions to the legal profession and applaud all of the other honorees.
