Jeralyn Lawrence Named to COVID-19 Task Force

The New Jersey State Bar Association has created a task force to examine issues facing the legal community because of the COVID-19 public health crisis. Jeralyn Lawrence, Founder and Managing Partner of Lawrence Law, will co-chair the Practice of Law Committee with Timothy McGoughran, Esq. The Practice of Law Committee will provide leadership on the emerging challenges and opportunities confronting the legal profession and the justice system arising from the COVID-19. This Committee is one of five comprising the task force which has been implemented under the leadership of the New Jersey State Bar Association President, Kim Yonta.

The NJSBA Pandemic Task Force brings together thought leaders from across the profession to study questions including how to safely reopen law firms, adjust courthouse operations, resume jury trials, examine the impact of the pandemic on substantive areas of law, and how access to justice has been affected.
