Lawrence Law is proud to sponsor the 2020 National Detector Dog Trials. Hosted by the Mercer County (NJ) Prosecutor’s Office and Robbinsville (NJ) Police Department, 2020 United States Police Canine Association National Detector Dog Trials will take place May 3-6, 2020 in Princeton, New Jersey. This event will bring together approximately 100 police dog teams from throughout the United States for training certification and competition. The teams that compete at the nationals are some of the best police working dogs in North America. They have competed in their home states and achieved a qualifying score to participate in this extraordinary certification opportunity and competition.

Jeralyn Lawrence, Founder of Lawrence Law, says, “My team and I are thrilled to sponsor this wonderful event. With a long history of supporting law enforcement, the opportunity to support these courageous and amazing animals is truly appreciated.”

The United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) is the nation’s oldest and largest police K-9 organization. Since 1971, the USPCA has been training and certifying police dogs in general patrol dog use, tracking, protection, narcotics detection, explosives detection, arson, fish and game, and search and rescue. The police dogs that are seen in airports, train stations, police cruisers, and so on are probably dogs that have been trained and certified by the USPCA. They train a wide diversity of breeds including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Retrievers, Labradors, Border Collies, Bloodhounds, among other.
