As Co-Chair of the presenting Family Law Litigation Committee, Aquilio will present direct examination of a financial expert in a bench trial. Presenting a trial before a judge can be significantly different than presenting to a jury. Trial lawyers should consider different styles and methods when arguing a bench trial to effectively represent their clients. This mini mock trial includes opening statements, a direct and cross examination of an expert witness, and a discussion with a panel of judges.

Aquilio has also been trained by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers as a Family Law Arbitrator. She is a Trustee of the Somerset County Bar Association and a Member of the District XIII Ethics Committee. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the New Jersey Lawyer Magazine, the professional journal of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Aquilio earned her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law, and her B.A., cum laude, from Drew University.
