Lawrence Law is proud to be a sponsor of the 8th Annual 4 MILER at Garret Mountain. The event, presented by Sax LLP, is being held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Woodland Park, New Jersey. All money from the run/walk benefits the Child Life Department of the St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey. Sax LLP has raised over $430,000 since the 4 MILER’s inception in 2012 and have proudly become the largest financial contributor to the Child Life Department.

“Through the help and generosity of our event sponsors like Lawrence Law, we’ve been able to grant St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital the opportunity to provide their pediatric patients with an outlet while they undergo treatment and care,” said Stuart M. Berger, Sax LLP Partner and Chairman of the 4 Miler at Garret Mountain. “Our goal this year is to raise $75,000 to directly benefit the Hospital’s Child Life Department and we are so grateful for the support of companies and individuals like Jeralyn Lawrence. We couldn’t accomplish our goal without them.”

A resident of Watchung, Lawrence devotes her practice to matrimonial, divorce and family law. She is Second Vice President of the New Jersey State Bar Association, slated to be President in 2022 and Vice President of the New Jersey Chapter of the AAML. Lawrence is on the Board of The Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey. She is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney. She is a trained Family/Divorce Mediator, admitted to the rosters of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases and of Custody and Parenting Time Cases for Somerset County; is certified by the AAML, the preeminent family law association in America, as a Family Law Arbitrator; and is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Lawrence is also a trained collaborative law attorney. She has worked with clients in every area of matrimonial and family law, including divorce litigation and mediation, custody and parenting time, alimony and child support, separation and property settlement agreements, adoption and guardianship, domestic partnership matters, domestic violence and sexual abuse, and palimony. Lawrence earned her bachelor’s degree from Kean College and her law degree from Seton Hall, where she graduated second in her class.
