Lawrence Law is Proud to Support Watchung Policemen’s Benevolent Association

Lawrence Law is proud to support the Watchung Policemen’s Benevolent Association 2019 Fund Drive.

“We are proud to support the Watchung PBA. As the daughter of a retired police officer, a lawyer representing many people in law enforcement, and a resident of Watchung, I truly appreciate the mission of the PBA. PBA members not only protect us when on the clock, they support our community in so many ways when off of it,” said Jeralyn Lawrence, Founder and Managing Member of Lawrence Law.

Watchung Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local 193, an affiliate of the New Jersey State PBA, is the collective bargaining unit that represents the sworn law enforcement officers that serve the Borough of Watchung in Somerset County, NJ. In addition to the importance of labor representation, Local 193 is also involved in many local community programs. As a non-profit entity, support for these programs is made possible by donations from local residents and supporters. With such support, the Watchung PBA has been able to donate to the Adopt-a-Family organization every year during Christmas time, as well as yearly support for the Nick Magos Cancer Callout. They also make a yearly donation to Watchung Hills Regional High School Project Graduation, Watchung Police Department’s D.A.R.E. program, Watchung Little League, American Red Cross, the Special Olympics, the American Legion, Watchung Youth Services “Girls on the Run” Program, Boy Scouts of America: Patriots Path Council serving the Watchung area, and Girl Scouts of America: Washington Rock Council.

A resident of Watchung, Lawrence devotes her practice to matrimonial, divorce and family law. She is Second Vice President of the New Jersey State Bar Association, slated to be President in 2022 and Vice President of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Lawrence is on the Board of The Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey. She is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney. She is a trained Family/Divorce Mediator, admitted to the rosters of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases and of Custody and Parenting Time Cases for Somerset County; is certified by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the preeminent family law association in America, as a Family Law Arbitrator; and is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Lawrence is also a trained collaborative law attorney. She has worked with clients in every area of matrimonial and family law, including divorce litigation and mediation, custody and parenting time, alimony and child support, separation and property settlement agreements, adoption and guardianship, domestic partnership matters, domestic violence and sexual abuse, and palimony. Lawrence handles high-profile matters for celebrities, professional athletes and governmental officials. She takes immense pride and care in helping her clients through these difficult personal matters.
